FAQ
The stuff people usually want to know before they buy.
I don’t know anyone attending, will I be welcome?
Yes! We have social icebreakers, networking breaks, and the Saturday party to create a lively, open environment. There are many introverts among speakers and attendees. Together we have a great time.
I am not based in Canada, will this be relevant to me?
Yes, we think so, thanks to multiple session tracks. While we expect roughly ⅓ of content to be specific to travelers based in Canada, ⅓ will be Canada-themed with relevance to travelers based in the US and other countries (such as Air Canada Aeroplan), and ⅓ will be fully global topics such as international airline and hotel programs. We expect around ¼ of attendees to travel to the event from outside Canada.
Is there a virtual ticket?
No, this is an in-person conference with no virtual option.
Are sessions recorded for later viewing?
No, sessions are not recorded unless a speaker requests it and announces it to attendees. Our focus is on the in-person experience, allowing speakers and attendees to freely discuss session content. Some speakers provide access to slides or other takeaways as part of their sessions. They will provide instructions during their sessions.
Are tickets refundable?
Registration fees (Saturday and the Friday add-on) are non-refundable.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes — transfers are allowed for a CAD 25 processing fee. Transfers must be completed by April 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT by emailing the organizer via Eventbrite with your ticket info. Transfers are assigned by the organizer to those on the event waitlist. Resale is prohibited and may result in cancellation without refund.
Is Friday a standalone ticket?
No. The Friday add-on party requires a Saturday Festival ticket and is added during checkout.
What’s included with Saturday?
Saturday includes the conference (8 AM – 5 PM), lunch, morning/afternoon snack breaks, and the 6–9 PM evening party with one drink ticket and hot appetizers.
Can I record sessions?
No audio or video recording is permitted without express written consent. Unauthorized recording may result in ejection without refund. Photos of slides are allowed only with verbal consent of the presenter.
How do I get there / is parking available?
The hotel offers a free 24/7 Toronto Pearson (YYZ) shuttle. Parking is discounted to $15/day for festival attendees (regular rate $35/day).
